Hi, welcome to My Smashing Adventures. I'm Ashley and this is my amazing husband Matt. Laughter is never in short supply around our house! We have been married 12 years. We starting dating when we were teenagers. We married young and growing up together has been an amazing adventure. 

Recently our life changed overnight and we became parents to a precious little girl Lily Rose. She has changed our life in the most amazing ways. She is a living example that God has a good and perfect plan for all of us. 

In these past 12 years I have learned a lot about myself. I have a passion for creating things and making people feel special.This blog is about our life, faith, cooking, design, fashion, basically anything and everything I feel like talking about.

 We have a dog her name is Knicki named after the New York Knicks Matt's favorite basketball team. She is kind of an old lady now but continually acts like a young puppy. She is so sweet we love her! 

 A couple years ago we moved to the mountains where my brother and sister in law run a Christian Camp and we rent a house on the property. It sits on 40 acres and it is so dreamy, yes we live in the forest. 

 I have a Wedding and Event planning business A Smashing Event. I am a bit of a throwback and love all things vintage so the name for this blog and my business was the perfect fit.
